Sutherlin Bulldogs Football 63-8 Coquille

The Sutherlin Bulldogs made a serious statement Friday night, rolling over Coquille by a final score of 63-8 in a performance that was dominant from the opening whistle. The Bulldogs came out fired up and never let off the gas, piling on points in what turned into one of the more lopsided results you'll see this season. Give credit to Coquille for suiting up and competing, but this was Sutherlin's night through and through.

The Bulldogs controlled the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball, and it showed in that final score. Whether it was the offense finding the end zone seemingly at will or the defense suffocating Coquille's attack, Sutherlin was clicking on all cylinders. Games like this are a good reminder of just how dangerous this group can be when everything comes together.

With the convincing win, the Bulldogs improve to 5-1 on the season, a record that keeps them firmly in the conversation for postseason positioning. The margin of victory will do wonders for morale heading into the next stretch of the schedule. Sutherlin looks like a team that has found its groove at exactly the right time of year.
