Camas Valley Hornets Softball 12-2 Oakridge

The Camas Valley softball team put together their most complete offensive performance of the season Thursday, rolling past Oakridge 12-2 on the road in league action. The Loggers broke out of their early-season struggles with a dominant display that saw them plate double-digit runs for the first time this spring.

Camas Valley controlled the game from the opening innings, building a commanding lead that allowed them to cruise to victory in what became a statement win for the program. The 10-run margin represented the team's most lopsided victory of the campaign and provided a much-needed boost to their confidence.

The victory improved Camas Valley to 4-6 overall and 2-1 in conference play, putting them in solid position within the league standings. After a challenging start to the season, the Loggers appear to be finding their rhythm at the right time.
