Dr. Stewart's AAA Baseball 7-6 Reno Gladiators

A one-run margin was all it took at Champion Car Wash Field on Saturday, as Dr. Stewart's baseball held off the Reno Gladiators 7-6 in the first game of a doubleheader.

The win was not comfortable, but it counted. Dr. Stewart's managed to protect a slim lead against a Gladiators squad that pushed until the final out in this non-league contest. Reno made things interesting, pulling within one, but Dr. Stewart's did enough to close it out.

With the victory, Dr. Stewart's improved to 9-7 on the summer, moving back toward the .500 mark and giving the team some momentum heading into the second game of the day.
