UVC Monarchs Boys Soccer 0-2 Pacific

Pacific handed Umpqua Valley Christian a 2-0 defeat in a 2A/1A-SD3 Special District 3 boys soccer league match played Thursday evening in Roseburg, Oregon. The Eagles were unable to find the back of the net against a Pacific side that controlled the scoreboard from start to finish, netting two goals while keeping UVC off the board throughout the contest. The loss drops Umpqua Valley Christian to 8-5 overall and 5-3 in conference play. Despite the setback, the Eagles enter the final stretch of the regular season with a winning record and still very much in the mix within the district standings. Holding onto that winning mark will be important as the team looks to position itself favorably for postseason consideration. UVC will need to regroup quickly and find its offensive rhythm in the days ahead. The Eagles will look to bounce back in their next scheduled contest and close out the regular season on a strong note.
