Elkton Elks Football 33-31 North Lake

Elkton football escaped with a 33-31 road victory over North Lake on Saturday, keeping the Elks perfect on the season. The win was earned away from Elkton, Oregon, with the team traveling to face a North Lake squad that pushed them to the final whistle in a tense, back-and-forth league contest. Elkton now stands at 8-0 overall and 5-0 in conference play, securing sole possession of the top spot in the league standings with the narrow two-point margin. The Elks have now won all five of their conference games this fall, a testament to a team that continues to find ways to win in difficult situations. A road victory against a determined opponent, settled by just two points, is the kind of résumé-building result that could matter deeply when playoff seeding is determined. Elkton will look to carry that momentum forward as the regular season winds down and postseason positioning comes into sharper focus in the weeks ahead.
