Glide Wildcats Baseball 6-11 Creswell

Offensive fireworks weren't enough for Glide on Friday night, as the Wildcats dropped an 11-6 decision to Creswell in non-league baseball action. The loss moves Glide to 1-3 on the young season as they continue working through early-season adjustments.

The Wildcats showed offensive life by plating six runs against the Bulldogs, but struggled to contain Creswell's attack in the road contest. Both teams combined for 17 runs in what became a back-and-forth affair before the Bulldogs pulled away.

While the result wasn't what Glide hoped for, the offensive production provides encouragement as the Wildcats look to find consistency at the plate. Early season non-league games like this serve as valuable learning experiences for a team still finding its identity.
