A wild offensive showcase turned heartbreaking for Glide on Tuesday night, as the Wildcats dropped a 12-11 non-league baseball decision to visiting Myrtle Point at home. The back-and-forth affair featured 23 total runs, with both teams trading big innings throughout the contest.

Glide battled gamely against the Bobcats, matching them nearly run for run in what became one of the season's most entertaining games. The Wildcats showed tremendous fight, rallying multiple times to keep pace with Myrtle Point's potent offense.

Despite the loss, Glide's ability to generate runs against quality pitching provides encouraging signs for the remainder of the season. The offensive explosion demonstrated the team's potential when everything clicks at the plate.

The defeat moves Glide to 2-6 overall as they continue working through a challenging schedule. With several games remaining, the Wildcats will look to build on the offensive momentum from this high-scoring affair when they return to action later this week.
