Your Guide to Youth Baseball in Douglas County
With spring around the corner, it's time to start thinking about baseball season. Douglas County has several great options for young players, whether they're picking up a bat for the first time or working toward high school ball.
Umpqua Valley Cal Ripken offers four divisions covering ages 4 through 12. T-Ball is perfect for beginners learning the basics, while the Rookie League introduces coach-pitch play. Minors and Majors bring kid-pitch baseball with full rules for more experienced players. All four divisions have registration open through March 15.
For high school players, Roseburg High School fields both a Varsity and JV baseball team competing in the Southwest Conference. The spring season kicks off in March, and you can follow their full schedule and scores here on Roseburg Sports Hub.
UCC Baseball is also gearing up for their NWAC South Region schedule. College baseball fans can track the Riverhawks' games and results throughout the spring.
The Douglas County Baseball Association (DCBA) runs additional summer programs and tournaments for competitive travel teams. Keep an eye on our programs page for their registration announcements.
No matter your child's age or skill level, there's a place for them on a diamond in Douglas County this spring.
