Yoncalla Eagles Softball 2-17 North Bend / Reedsport

North Bend/Reedsport's explosive offense proved too much for Yoncalla to handle in Monday's softball showdown. The visiting squad dominated from the opening inning, rolling to a 17-2 victory over the Eagles in Yoncalla, Oregon.

The loss drops Yoncalla to 4-13 overall and 2-5 in Skyline League (1A) play as the spring season winds down. Despite the challenging result, the Eagles continued to compete throughout the contest on their home field.

North Bend/Reedsport capitalized on numerous scoring opportunities, building a commanding lead that proved insurmountable for Yoncalla's lineup. The Eagles managed to plate two runs but couldn't match their opponents' offensive production.

With league play continuing, Yoncalla will look to regroup and finish the season strong. The Eagles have shown flashes of competitive play this spring and will aim to build momentum in their remaining contests.
