Oakland Oakers Girls Volleyball 3-1 Reedsport

Oakland's volleyball team picked up a hard-earned 3-1 victory over Reedsport on Thursday evening, bringing some momentum to a squad that needed it. The Oakers hosted the match in Oakland, Oregon, marking a Sunset Conference (2A) league contest for both sides. With the win, Oakland moves to 6-10 overall and 2-5 in conference play. Coming in at 5-10, the team showed resilience against a Reedsport squad that pushed them through four sets before the Oakers closed it out. Winning in four sets is never easy, and giving up a set along the way is a reminder that there is still work to be done down the stretch of the season. Still, a league win is a league win, and this one gives Oakland something positive to build on as the Sunset Conference race continues to wind down. The Oakers will look to carry this energy into their next matchup and see if they can string together consecutive wins before the postseason arrives.
