Roseburg Indians Girls Volleyball 0-3 Westview

Westview handed Roseburg a 3-0 defeat in girls volleyball Saturday, sending the Indians home from their non-league road trip with a loss. Roseburg, Oregon's representative in the 6A-7 Southern Oregon Conference Hybrid, traveled to face the Wildcats and could not find an answer across three sets. The sweep drops the Indians to 17-8 overall on the season, though their conference standing remains strong at 10-1 in league play. Non-league matchups like this one serve an important purpose late in the season, offering a look at competition from outside the Southern Oregon Conference and exposing areas where the roster can sharpen before postseason play begins. Westview, a 6A program out of the Portland metro area, presented a different style and pace than what Roseburg sees week to week in conference. The Indians will use the film and the experience as motivation heading into the final stretch of the fall season. Roseburg's next opportunity comes soon, and the program will look to bounce back on familiar ground.
