South Umpqua defeated Creswell 4-1 on the road Tuesday in non-league baseball action. The Lancers from Myrtle Creek, Oregon, who compete in the Far West League (3A), used solid pitching and timely hitting to secure the victory away from home.

The win improves South Umpqua to 15-6 overall and 12-3 in conference play as the spring season winds down. The Lancers controlled the game throughout, limiting Creswell to just one run while manufacturing four runs of their own.

With the regular season nearing its conclusion, South Umpqua continues to build momentum heading into potential playoff action. The strong conference record of 12-3 positions the Lancers well for postseason consideration in the competitive 3A classification.

The victory over Creswell represents another quality road performance for a South Umpqua squad that has shown consistency throughout the 2026 campaign. The Lancers will look to maintain their winning ways as they prepare for the final stretch of the season and potential playoff opportunities ahead.
