Sutherlin Bulldogs Baseball 8-14 South Umpqua / Days Creek

The Bulldogs couldn't keep pace with South Umpqua / Days Creek's offensive surge Friday afternoon, dropping an 14-8 baseball decision at home. Despite putting up eight runs, Sutherlin found themselves on the wrong end of a high-scoring affair that saw both teams combine for 22 runs.

The loss moves Sutherlin to 7-9 overall and 2-4 in conference play as the spring season enters its final stretch. While the Bulldogs showed they could generate offense against South Umpqua / Days Creek, defensive struggles and pitching challenges proved costly in the six-run defeat.
