UCC Men's Basketball Riding a Hot Streak at 19-4

The Umpqua Community College men's basketball team is having a season to remember. With a 19-4 overall record heading into the final stretch of conference play, the Riverhawks have established themselves as one of the top programs in the NWAC South Region.

Head coach and his squad have been dominant at home and competitive on the road, with key wins over conference rivals keeping them near the top of the standings. The team's balanced scoring attack and suffocating defense have been the story of the season.

With several conference games remaining, UCC controls its own destiny for a high seed in the upcoming NWAC tournament. The Riverhawks next host Southwestern Oregon on Feb. 12 before hitting the road for their final away stretch.
