UVC Monarchs Girls Volleyball 3-0 Yoncalla

Umpqua Valley Christian remained unbeaten in league play Thursday night, sweeping Yoncalla 3-0 in a 1A girls volleyball matchup at home in Roseburg, Oregon. The Eagles took care of business in straight sets, keeping their conference record spotless at 6-0 on the season. With the win, UVC improves to 12-6 overall, a record that reflects steady growth through a challenging schedule heading into the heart of the postseason push. Yoncalla came to Roseburg looking for an upset but could not find consistent answers against the Eagles' serve and defensive pressure throughout the evening. The home crowd had plenty to cheer as UVC controlled the flow of play from start to finish. Thursday's performance reinforces the Eagles as one of the stronger contenders in 1A competition this fall. Umpqua Valley Christian will look to extend that conference winning streak in the coming days as league play tightens up and every match carries added weight in the standings.
