Yoncalla Eagles Girls Volleyball 0-3 Elkton

Elkton swept Yoncalla 3-0 on Tuesday in a Skyline League (1A) girls volleyball match played in Elkton, dropping the Indians from Yoncalla, Oregon to 3-15 on the season. The Elks controlled the match from start to finish, taking all three sets without allowing Yoncalla a set victory in the road contest. The loss moves Yoncalla to 2-6 in conference play, leaving the Indians with limited margin for error as the league schedule winds toward its conclusion. Tuesday's result extended a difficult stretch for Yoncalla, which came into the match at 3-14 overall. Without a detailed box score available, standout individual performances remain unconfirmed, but the Indians will look to regroup quickly after the setback. Yoncalla will need to find consistency in serve reception and side-out efficiency to compete down the stretch. The Indians return to action later this week with another opportunity to pick up a league win before the postseason picture comes into focus.
