Youth Strength & Conditioning

About this program
The YMCA of Douglas County Youth Strength and Conditioning program helps athletes ages 9 to 15 get stronger, faster, and more confident heading into their next season. Sessions cover strength and technique, speed and agility, and injury prevention, led by a certified performance coach. Workouts run Tuesdays and Thursdays. Session 1 runs June 16 to July 2 and Session 2 runs July 7 to July 30, with ages 13 to 15 training 10:30 to 11:30 AM and ages 9 to 12 from 12 to 1 PM. Athletic attire, shoes, and water are required. Sign up at the YMCA or contact Coach Jen Edgar at jedgar@ymcaofdouglascounty.org.
Scholarships available
Scholarships are available. Inquire at the front desk. Scholarship application deadlines are June 3 for Session 1 and June 29 for Session 2.
