Camas Valley Hornets Football 60-40 Vernonia

Camas Valley pulled away for a 60-40 football victory over Vernonia on Friday night at home in Camas Valley, Oregon, closing out October with an emphatic offensive performance. The Camas Valley squad piled up points throughout the contest, ultimately pulling clear of the visiting Mustangs in a game that featured fireworks on both sides of the ball. Vernonia kept things interesting with 40 points of their own, but the Camas Valley offense proved too much to contain. The win moves Camas Valley to 5-3 on the season and 1-3 in league play. The conference record reflects a competitive schedule, and banking this league win provides some footing heading into the final stretch of the regular season. With the fall season winding down, Camas Valley will look to build on this momentum and close out the year strong. Every remaining game carries weight, and Friday's performance showed the offense is capable of putting up big numbers when it counts.
