Camas Valley Hornets Football 0-44 Perrydale

The Hornets ran into a buzzsaw Friday night, dropping a 44-0 decision to Perrydale in what was a tough outing from start to finish. Camas Valley had entered the game riding high with a perfect 4-0 record, but Perrydale came ready to play and made a statement in dominant fashion. The Hornets simply couldn't find any traction on either side of the ball, and the visitors controlled the contest throughout.

There's no sugarcoating a shutout loss, but this group has shown plenty of fight this season and one rough night doesn't erase what the Hornets have built. Camas Valley sits at 4-1 on the year and still has plenty of season left to respond. How a team bounces back from a game like this says a lot about its character, and the Hornets have given their fans reason to believe they're up to that challenge.

The schedule moves forward, and so do the Hornets. Expect a hungry Camas Valley squad to come out with something to prove next week. Stay tuned to the site for coverage as the season rolls on.
