Days Creek Wolves Girls Volleyball 3-1 Powers

Days Creek pulled even on the season Saturday, defeating Powers 3-1 in a non-league girls volleyball match played at home in Days Creek, Oregon. The Wolves, members of the 1A-4 Skyline League, moved to 11-11 overall with the victory, a milestone that carries real meaning heading into the final stretch of the fall campaign. The four-set win showed the kind of resilience this group has been building all season. Days Creek did not close things out in three, giving Powers a set along the way, but responded and finished the job when it mattered. That ability to answer adversity is an encouraging sign for a squad that has steadily found its footing. In league play, the Wolves now sit at 7-2, keeping themselves in solid position within Skyline League standings as postseason time approaches. Days Creek will look to carry Saturday's momentum into its next scheduled match and keep the winning feeling going.
