Douglas Trojans Boys Soccer 0-5 Sutherlin

Sutherlin handed Douglas a 5-0 defeat Tuesday in a Far West League (3A) boys soccer match, a tough road result for the Tigers from Winston, Oregon. The loss drops Douglas to 1-10 overall and 1-10 in league play as the fall season winds toward its final stretch. Playing away from home against a Sutherlin side that controlled the match from the start, Douglas had no answers offensively and was unable to keep the Bulldogs off the scoreboard, surrendering five goals in the shutout loss. For a team that has found wins hard to come by this season, the challenge now is to finish the year with purpose and use these final matches as a building block for the program moving forward. Douglas will look to bounce back and find some positive momentum when they return to action later this week, giving the Tigers one more opportunity to end the season on a stronger note.
