Douglas Trojans Boys Soccer 8-0 Siuslaw

Douglas boys soccer found its footing in a big way Tuesday, shutting out visiting Siuslaw 8-0 in Far West League (3A) play at home in Winston, Oregon. The dominant performance gave the Tigers their first league victory of the season, moving them to 1-8 overall and 1-8 in conference play. From the opening whistle, Douglas controlled possession and converted opportunities with consistency, piling up goals against a Siuslaw side that struggled to generate any sustained offensive pressure. The clean sheet was equally impressive, as the Douglas defense held firm throughout the match and denied the Vikings any real chance to get on the board. For a squad that has been working to find its rhythm during a difficult stretch, an eight-goal outburst represents a genuine breakthrough moment and a confidence boost heading into the final weeks of the regular season. Douglas will look to carry that momentum into its next Far West League contest and build on Tuesday's decisive result.
