Douglas Trojans Girls Soccer 1-6 Brookings-Harbor

Brookings-Harbor handed the Douglas girls soccer team a 6-1 defeat on Tuesday in a Far West League (3A) road contest, dropping the Tigers to 1-4 overall and 1-2 in conference play. Douglas, which represents Winston, Oregon, in the Far West League (3A), faced a difficult test making the trip to the southern Oregon coast, and Brookings-Harbor proved too much on home turf. The Wolverines built a commanding advantage that Douglas was unable to overcome, with the Tigers managing just one goal on the afternoon against a stout home side. The loss is the second in conference play for Douglas, making the path to a strong league finish more challenging with the season progressing. The Tigers will need to regroup and find consistency on both ends of the field as league games continue to carry greater weight. Douglas will look to bounce back in its next outing and build on the lone goal it was able to find on the road.
