Douglas Trojans Girls Volleyball 3-1 Brookings-Harbor

Douglas picked up a much-needed 3A-6 Far West League victory Thursday evening, defeating Brookings-Harbor 3-1 in girls volleyball action at home in Winston, Oregon. The win moves the Dogs to 7-12 overall and 4-9 in league play as the season heads toward its final stretch. Taking a set from Douglas before the Dogs answered back and closed out the match, Brookings-Harbor made things competitive, but Douglas held firm when it counted and secured the four-set result. For a program that entered the night at 6-12, the victory carries real momentum value. Wins in league play are never automatic at any level, and Thursday's result shows the Dogs are capable of getting the job done on their home floor. With the regular season winding down, Douglas will look to carry this confidence into upcoming matches and finish the year on a stronger note than the standings might suggest heading into the postseason picture.
