North Douglas Warriors Girls Volleyball 0-3 Gold Beach

Gold Beach handed North Douglas a 3-0 sweep in Far West League (3A) girls volleyball action Tuesday evening, dropping the Warriors from Winston, Oregon to 11-4 overall on the season. The road trip to the southern Oregon coast proved tough for North Douglas, which fell in straight sets against a determined Gold Beach squad playing on its home floor. The loss moves North Douglas to 4-2 in league play, keeping the Warriors in the thick of the Far West League race with several conference contests still remaining. While the sweep stings, an 11-4 overall record reflects a program that has won more than it has lost this fall, and the Warriors have shown plenty of resilience throughout the season. North Douglas will look to bounce back quickly and protect its standing in the league standings as the postseason picture begins to take shape. The Warriors return home to regroup and prepare for their next matchup with conference positioning on the line.
