South Umpqua Lancers Girls Soccer 0-8 North Bend

North Bend handed South Umpqua an 8-0 defeat Tuesday in a Far West League (3A) girls soccer match played at South Umpqua's home field in Myrtle Creek, Oregon. The Trojans were unable to find the back of the net against a strong North Bend side, falling to 0-14 overall and 0-9 in conference play this season. North Bend controlled the match from the opening whistle, building a commanding lead and never letting South Umpqua settle into a rhythm. Without a detailed box score available, specific goal scorers and standout individual performances could not be confirmed, but the result reflected a tough night across the board for the Trojans. South Umpqua has faced a challenging schedule throughout the fall campaign, and Tuesday's result continues a difficult stretch for the program. The Trojans will look to regroup and find their footing as the regular season winds down, with an opportunity to finish strong in their remaining Far West League contests.
