Roseburg Indians Boys Soccer 3-2 Eagle Point

A hard-fought 3-2 victory over Eagle Point on Tuesday gave Roseburg boys soccer a boost of momentum at home in Roseburg, Oregon, in Southwest Conference (6A) league play. The Indians controlled enough of the match to come away with the win, improving their overall record to 3-6-1 and their conference mark to 2-4 on the season. After a stretch of difficult results, the victory over Eagle Point offered the program a timely reminder of what this group is capable of when things click. Eagle Point pushed back and made it close, keeping the outcome in doubt until the final whistle, but Roseburg held on to secure the two points. The win does not erase the challenges of a tough season so far, but it does give the Indians something to build on as the calendar turns deeper into October. Roseburg will look to carry this energy into upcoming conference matches and build on the positive result.
