Roseburg Indians Girls Volleyball 3-1 North Eugene

Roseburg kept its perfect start intact Thursday night, defeating North Eugene 3-1 in a non-league girls volleyball match at home. The Indians, representing Roseburg, Oregon, and competing in the Southwest Conference (6A), moved to 2-0 on the young season with the convincing home-court win. The set victory over North Eugene showed early signs of a squad comfortable playing in front of its home crowd and capable of closing out opponents when it counts. Dropping just one set kept things from being a complete sweep, but the Indians responded well to any early adversity and ultimately controlled the match. The win builds confidence heading into what promises to be a demanding schedule in the Southwest Conference. Roseburg will look to carry this momentum forward as league play approaches, and another strong performance next time out could signal that this group is ready to compete at a high level all fall.
