Sutherlin Bulldogs Girls Soccer 2-2 Siuslaw

A road trip to Florence ended in a 2-2 tie Saturday as Sutherlin girls soccer split points with Siuslaw in a Far West League (3A) contest. The Bulldogs of Sutherlin, Oregon, found the net twice but could not hold on for a full three points, settling for a share of the result against the Vikings. The draw moves Sutherlin to 7-3-3 overall and 3-2 in league play, keeping the Bulldogs in a competitive spot in the Far West League standings with the postseason window approaching. Playing on the road is never easy, and salvaging a point against a scrappy Siuslaw squad shows some resilience from this group. With the regular season winding down, Sutherlin will need to string together wins to strengthen its postseason position. The Bulldogs return home next week looking to build on the momentum of staying unbeaten from behind, turning a late-season tie into a stepping stone rather than a stumble.
