Sutherlin Bulldogs Girls Volleyball 0-3 St. Mary's, Medford

St. Mary's of Medford swept Sutherlin's girls volleyball team 3-0 on Thursday evening in a Far West League (3A) road matchup, dropping the Bulldogs from Sutherlin, Oregon to 5-15 overall and 4-8 in conference play. The shutout loss was a tough result for Sutherlin, which struggled to find answers against the Crusaders on their home floor in Medford. Without a detailed box score available, the three-set sweep suggests St. Mary's controlled the tempo throughout the match, giving the Bulldogs limited opportunities to gain momentum. The result is a difficult one as Sutherlin navigates a challenging stretch of the Far West League schedule. With the regular season winding down, the Bulldogs will look to regroup and finish the year on a positive note. Sutherlin will return home soon, giving the team a chance to play in front of their home crowd and build some confidence heading into the final games of the 2026 fall campaign.
