Sutherlin Bulldogs Girls Volleyball 3-1 Illinois Valley

Sutherlin's volleyball team came away with a 3-1 victory at Illinois Valley on Thursday, giving the Bulldogs from Sutherlin, Oregon a key Far West League (3A) road win to even their conference standing. The victory pushes Sutherlin to 5-11 overall and 4-4 in league play, placing them squarely in the middle of the Far West League standings as the season enters its final stretch.

Winning on the road is never easy, and this result carries real weight for a Sutherlin squad that needed a quality performance away from home. Taking three of four sets against the Panthers showed the Bulldogs have the composure and resilience to compete in hostile gyms.

With the league slate tightening and playoff positioning on the line, every conference match from this point forward takes on added importance. Sutherlin will look to build on Thursday's momentum and continue climbing in the Far West League standings as the postseason window draws closer.
