Douglas Trojans Girls Volleyball 3-0 Siuslaw

Douglas volleyball picked up a clean sweep Tuesday night, defeating Siuslaw 3-0 in a Far West League (3A) home match in Winston, Oregon. The Tigers controlled all three sets against the Vikings, earning a decisive straight-set victory that moved them to 3-9 overall and 1-7 in league play. After a stretch of tough results early in the season, the win offered a much-needed boost heading into the final weeks of the Far West League schedule. Douglas had entered the night at 2-9, and getting that third win at home carries real momentum with postseason positioning still in the picture. Siuslaw came to Winston looking to make things difficult, but the Tigers held firm throughout the match, never allowing the Vikings to force a fourth set. Douglas will look to build on this performance and string together more wins as the regular season winds down. Their next match will be an opportunity to climb further in the league standings.
