Lane's dominant pitching duo of Torsten Hersom and Sam Wilson held the Riverhawks to just one hit as the Titans rolled to a 6-0 conference baseball victory Tuesday in Eugene.

Hersom worked four innings, allowing only a single to left fielder Caden Kuhnert while striking out four Riverhawks batters. Wilson was even more impressive in relief, tossing three hitless innings to complete the shutout. The Titans built their lead methodically, scoring two runs in the first inning and adding single tallies in the third, fourth, fifth and sixth frames.

Umpqua's offense struggled to generate any momentum against the Lane pitching staff. Kuhnert's first-inning single represented the Riverhawks' only hit of the game. Center fielder Shiloh Wilson, second baseman Trevor Ratliff and catcher Ben Allen each drew walks, but UCC couldn't capitalize on their limited baserunners.

On the mound, Camden Hartsell battled through four innings for the Riverhawks, allowing two hits and striking out two while walking three. Tyler Miller pitched the final two frames.

Lane catcher Cody Roletto led the Titans' offensive attack with a 2-for-4 performance and three RBIs, while center fielder Quinton Olson went 2-for-3 with two runs scored.

The loss drops UCC to 13-4 overall as they continue conference play. The Riverhawks will look to bounce back and get their bats going in their next outing as the season enters a crucial stretch.
