Beau Ramsey delivered seven shutout innings as the UCC Riverhawks baseball team blanked Clackamas 3-0 Tuesday afternoon at home, improving to 19-11 overall in conference play.

Ramsey dominated on the mound, allowing just seven hits while striking out six and walking one. The right-hander worked efficiently through seven frames before Tyler Miller closed out the final two innings for the save, surrendering only one hit.

The Riverhawks manufactured runs in three different innings without needing any offensive explosions. Taylor Davis paced the attack with a 2-for-3 performance that included one run and one RBI. UCC struck first in the opening frame, then added insurance runs in the sixth and seventh innings to pull away.

Clackamas managed eight hits but couldn't push across a single run against the Riverhawks' pitching tandem. Blake DeBisschop took the loss for the visitors despite a solid effort, allowing just three hits over six innings with five strikeouts.

The shutout victory keeps UCC in strong position within the conference standings as the regular season winds down. Davis, Jeremiah Robbins and Aiden Metzker each scored runs for the Riverhawks, who continue building momentum with consistent pitching performances.

UCC will look to carry this defensive excellence into their next conference matchup as they push toward the postseason.
