Sutherlin's football team delivered a dominant road performance Friday night, cruising past Amity 42-6 to improve to 4-0 on the season. The Bulldogs, representing Sutherlin, Oregon, and competing out of the Far West League (3A), made the trip to Amity and left little doubt early, building a commanding lead that held through the final whistle in this non-league matchup.

The 36-point margin speaks to a Sutherlin squad that has looked sharp on both sides of the ball through four weeks. Holding Amity to just six points while posting 42 of their own signals a defense playing with confidence and an offense that can move the ball consistently against varying competition.

With a perfect 4-0 record heading into the heart of the schedule, the Bulldogs have positioned themselves well entering Far West League play. The focus now shifts to maintaining that momentum as league opponents will bring a higher level of familiarity and intensity. Sutherlin will look to keep rolling next week.
