Sutherlin Bulldogs Girls Volleyball 0-3 Brookings-Harbor

Brookings-Harbor swept Sutherlin 3-0 in a Far West League (3A) girls volleyball match played Tuesday on the Bruins' home floor, handing the Sutherlin, Oregon-based Bulldogs a tough road loss. The three-set defeat dropped Sutherlin to 5-12 overall and 4-5 in conference play as the Bulldogs continue navigating a challenging stretch of the schedule. Playing away from home in Brookings is never an easy task, and the Bruins proved a difficult opponent on their own court, controlling the match from start to finish. Without a detailed box score available, the 3-0 margin tells a clear story: Brookings-Harbor dictated the tempo throughout, and Sutherlin was unable to find consistent answers on either side of the ball. The Bulldogs will need to regroup quickly, with conference standings tightening as the regular season winds down. Sutherlin's next opportunity to respond comes in the days ahead, and the team will look to use this loss as motivation heading into the final stretch of league play.
