Glide Wildcats Girls Soccer 0-5 Douglas

Douglas handed Glide a 5-0 defeat in a 3A/2A/1A-SD3 Special District 3 girls soccer match played Thursday in Glide, Oregon. The Wildcats were unable to generate offensive momentum against a Douglas side that controlled the game from start to finish, finding the net five times while keeping Glide off the board entirely. The shutout loss drops Glide to 1-9 overall and 1-9 in league play, a difficult stretch for a young program still searching for consistency on both ends of the field. Douglas's attack proved relentless, and Glide's defense had no answers across the full 80 minutes. Without a detailed box score available, individual standouts on either side remain unclear, but the margin tells the story of a night where little went right for the home side. Glide will look to use the remaining schedule as an opportunity to build confidence and close the season on a stronger note heading into the offseason.
