Glide Wildcats Girls Soccer 0-8 Rogue River

Rogue River handed the Glide Wildcats a tough 8-0 defeat Thursday evening in 2A girls soccer league play, with Glide traveling to Rogue River for the road contest. The Wildcats of Glide, Oregon, were unable to find the net against a Rogue River side that controlled the match from start to finish, scoring eight unanswered goals to take the decisive victory. Without a detailed box score available, the final margin tells the story of a difficult night on the road for the young Glide squad. The loss drops Glide to 0-7 on the season and 0-7 in conference play. Despite the challenging stretch, the Wildcats continue to gain experience in a competitive 2A landscape, and every match presents an opportunity to develop as a unit. Glide will look to regroup and find their footing when they return to action later this month, with the postseason window still providing motivation to close the year on a stronger note.
