Gracie Schofield went 2-for-2 with three RBIs and three runs scored, leading Centralia to a 10-7 conference softball victory over the UCC Riverhawks on Monday afternoon in Centralia, Washington.

The Riverhawks (4-6 overall) fought back from an early 3-0 deficit, scoring four runs over the second and third innings to take a 4-3 lead. Gracie Mello drove in two runs while going 1-for-3, and Amanda Lloyd matched that production with a 1-for-4 performance that included two RBIs of her own.

But Centralia's fifth-inning explosion proved decisive. The hosts plated five runs in the frame to break open what had been a tight conference battle, turning a 4-4 tie into a commanding 9-4 advantage.

The Riverhawks mounted one final surge in the sixth, scoring two runs to cut the deficit to 10-6. Bella Garza contributed two RBIs on 1-for-3 hitting, while Savannah Crawford reached base twice and scored two runs despite just one official at-bat.

Kasey Ogan took the loss in the circle for UCC, allowing seven hits over 3.2 innings of work. Centralia's Emma Hoffmeister earned the win with five innings pitched, striking out five Riverhawks batters.

The loss drops UCC further below .500 as conference play continues. The Riverhawks will look to bounce back in their next outing as they work to climb back into contention in the competitive conference standings.
