Kaelyn Shoemaker poured in 21 points on efficient 9-of-14 shooting as the Riverhawks women's basketball team torched Southwestern Oregon 103-61 on the road Wednesday night. The offensive explosion pushed UCC to 15-5 overall in dominant conference fashion.

The Riverhawks found their rhythm early and never let up, building a 55-point advantage behind balanced scoring and crisp ball movement. Shoemaker led the charge with 21 points and seven rebounds, while Rebekah Beltran added 20 points and knocked down six three-pointers. Giselle Muffett contributed 19 points on five made threes.

Marlee Reupena orchestrated the offense with nine assists, helping UCC shoot efficiently across the board. The Riverhawks got contributions up and down the roster, with nine different players finding the scoring column. Sydnee Muntifering provided a spark off the bench with 10 points on perfect three-point shooting.

Southwestern Oregon's Bree Turner kept pace individually with 23 points on flawless shooting, but the Lakers couldn't match UCC's depth and firepower. The Riverhawks controlled the game from start to finish, outscoring their hosts in every period.

The conference victory keeps UCC rolling as they continue building toward postseason positioning. With offensive performances like this one, the Riverhawks are showing they can score with anyone in the region when clicking on all cylinders.
