The UCC Riverhawks put together their most explosive offensive performance in weeks, torching Centralia 113-88 on the road Tuesday night in a non-conference women's basketball showcase that displayed the team's championship potential. The 113-point outburst marked the highest single-game total for the Riverhawks this season, as they shot lights-out from the opening tip to pull away from a scrappy Centralia squad that had no answer for UCC's balanced attack.

Playing in front of a hostile crowd, the Riverhawks never let the road environment affect their rhythm, building what became a comfortable 25-point margin of victory. The dominant performance improved UCC to 23-10 overall and served as a statement game heading into the final stretch of the regular season.

The offensive explosion came at the perfect time for a Riverhawks team that has shown flashes of brilliance throughout the campaign but needed a signature road victory to build momentum. Centralia, despite the lopsided final score, battled throughout and managed to put up 88 points of their own in what became a fast-paced, high-scoring affair.

With conference tournament play approaching, Tuesday's performance gives the Riverhawks exactly the kind of confidence-building victory they'll need as they prepare for the postseason push that could determine their championship aspirations.
