Blue Mountain came to Douglas County hoping to slow down a UCC squad that had already notched 23 wins this season, but the Riverhawks had other plans Tuesday night. UCC's women's basketball team turned in a dominant performance from start to finish, cruising to a 73-53 victory over the visiting Blue Mountain squad in non-conference action at the Riverhawks' home court.

The 20-point margin of victory showcased UCC's balanced attack and defensive intensity against a Blue Mountain team that struggled to find offensive rhythm throughout the evening. The Riverhawks controlled the tempo early and never allowed their opponents to mount any serious comeback threat.

With the convincing win, UCC improved to 23-10 overall, continuing to build momentum as the season progresses. The non-conference matchup provided an excellent opportunity for the Riverhawks to fine-tune their execution on both ends of the floor while maintaining their competitive edge.

Blue Mountain, despite the lopsided final score, showed flashes of determination but couldn't match UCC's offensive firepower or defensive pressure. The Riverhawks' ability to pull away decisively demonstrated the kind of complete team effort that has defined their successful campaign.

As UCC continues to rack up victories, the focus will shift toward maintaining this high level of play and building toward postseason opportunities. The Riverhawks' impressive 23-10 record reflects a program trending in the right direction.
