UCC Riverhawks Mens Basketball 79-63 Southwestern Oregon
Four Riverhawks scored 18 or more points as UCC men's basketball dismantled Southwestern Oregon 79-63 on the road Thursday night, improving to 20-3 overall in a dominant conference performance.
Jackson Taylor led the balanced attack with 19 points on efficient 6-of-11 shooting, including a sizzling 5-of-8 from three-point range. Three teammates joined him in double figures: Mikey Lloyd (18 points, 3 steals), Jackson McKee (18 points, 3 rebounds), and Caden Hunter (18 points on 7-of-11 shooting).
The Riverhawks controlled the game from start to finish, taking a 39-14 halftime lead and cruising through the second half with a 40-49 scoring advantage. UCC's balanced scoring attack proved too much for Southwestern Oregon, which got 14 points from Quinton Christman and 12 from MJ Tia.
Taylor's three-point shooting was particularly impressive, as he connected on five treys in just 26 minutes of action. The efficient performance highlighted UCC's depth, with nine players seeing meaningful minutes in the blowout victory.
The 20-win milestone represents another strong season for the Riverhawks, who have established themselves as a conference force with their balanced offensive attack and solid team chemistry.
